iNTERACTIONS with ENVIRONMENTS
Before the American Revolution colonists highly depended on the environment as could be seen in their mass production of crops which was there main trade products, but their isolation from other mass trading regions posed complications with trade and communications.
Before the revolution the thirteen colonies were very dependent on agriculture. They farmed a lot for their own supply but also had a stable trade system in place to export these raw materials to Britain due to the fact that they had direct connection with the Atlantic Ocean. Trade was not facilitated due to the fact that they were in different continents. It took a lot of time to travel from America to Europe which slowed down the process of communication.
